Tea House Earrings in Black
18ct yellow gold vermeil and onyx flower earrings
Romanticized opium dens and Chinese tea ceremonies are the very sources of inspiration behind the Tea House Earrings. The courtesans who frequented these dens, and often performed the tea ceremonies, were known as the establishment’s ‘flowers’, and in turn for their services were gifted jewellery by their admirers.
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold vermeil and hand-carved onyx, these delicate floral earrings look particularly pretty when paired with denim, as this material helps accentuates the deep blue tones of the lapis stone. Whilst they come as standard in mother-of-pearl, amethyst and lapis lazuli (as well as onyx) we always offer our clients the chance to customise. If you would like to purchase a pair of our Tea House Earrings in a different gemstone colour please email [email protected].
These earrings have featured in many publications, including The Telegraph newspaper.
