London Craft Week

This year Tessa Packard London were once again honoured to participate in London Craft Week, opening the doors of the showroom to a wide variety of jewellery lovers to this time explore the relationship between Art and Jewellery and the evolving role of the artist / maker in history.

The insightful panel discussion was chaired by Tessa, who was joined by three inspirational speakers from both the art and jewellery industries: Andrew Prince, jeweller to the stars and designer behind much of Downton Abbey’s on screen jewels; London-based art-jewellery gallerist Elisabetta Cipriani; and jewellery expert Raymond Sancroft-Baker, the former European Jewellery Director at Christie’s.

Afternoon tea and home-made scones were enjoyed as guests listened to the speakers debate the nature of jewellery as art and its place in the commercial art world, before questions were opened to the floor.

We’d like to sincerely thank all our wonderful speakers for agreeing to participate in such an intriguing discussion and of course London Craft Week for once again including us in their inspirational round-up of events.
