G&T Earrings [Citrine]

18ct yellow gold vermeil, brass, citrine, resin and enamel earrings
Designer's Notes +

The G&Ts origins lie in 18th Century India, where a doctor called George Cleghorn discovered that quinine (mixed with water, sugar and lime to make palatable) could be used as a preventative against Malaria for the resident army of the British East India Company. These G&T Earrings draw inspiration from the two ingredients most frequently found garnishing this great colonial cocktail: the lemon and the cucumber.
