Wild Flower Earrings
The Wild Flower Earrings are inspired by the illustration of the magical Cornflower Fairy by Cicely Mary Barker.
Hand-crafted in England in brass and 18ct yellow gold vermeil, each petal has been carefully painted with a special verdigris solution to create the eye-catching green-turquoise tones you see in these earrings. At the centre sits a citrine orange cabochon set on a detachable stud, allowing you to wear the gemstone with or without its flowery jacket. The jacket can also be paired with other stud earrings from your own personal jewellery collection, making it a truly versatile accessory.
Bold and jewel-like, we think the Wild Flower Earrings look spectacular when paired with any ensemble, especially other bright aqua colours. They are extremely lightweight, making them ideal for day-to-night dressing. For maximum impact, wear with scraped back hair to really show off their statement design.
The Wild Flower Earrings hail from our Once Upon a Time in My Secret Garden jewellery collection. Inspired by the landscaped gardens of William Kent and Capability Brown, the exotic menagerie’s of George Stubbs and Jacques-Laurent Agasse, and the writings of William Shakespeare, Phillip Pullman, Lewis Carrol and Frances Hodgson Burnett (amongst others), this collection aims to bring to life the weird and wonderful flowers and creatures that would reside in Tessa’s imagined garden.
