When not riding horses or playing in puddles Tessa can be found at her Ives Street showroom, located a stone’s throw away from Sloane Street in London’s Chelsea district.
Opened with the help of her brilliant team in late 2017, the showroom is designed and decorated like a Victorian study, complete with taxidermy, art, fossils, found objects and other collected curiosities. The ground floor plays home to Tessa’s jewellery, which is displayed in custom-made, wooden vitrines, reminiscent of those found in the Natural History Museum. It also showcases her sketchbooks and the various objet d’art that she makes and sells, alongside a rotating inventory of artworks, collectables and furniture that is loaned to the space for sale.
Upstairs the world of TP London opens up into a large, open-plan studio filled with natural light. One half is the office, the other is Tessa’s creative workshop. Here you can see jewellery pieces in the making, experimental projects, mood boards and sketches and the all-important painting desk. A small sitting area completes the space, perfect for intimate meetings with clients or with her team.
Aside from private and bespoke appointments, the showroom hosts a wide range of events throughout the year, from panel discussions to artist talks, taxidermy workshops to do-it-yourself decoupage classes. These events are open to all and full details can be found HERE.
