This January Tessa Packard London was honoured to welcome Christie’s in collaboration with Peter Petrou, the infamous and legendary curiosity collector and antique dealer.

The showroom played host to a curated selection of works from Peter’s collection, due to be auctioned off by Christie’s later that month. Entitled ‘Tales of the Unexpected’, the sale included birds nests preserved in resin, anatomical and botanical specimens, butterfly prints and inuit sunglasses. Guests from Christie’s young collector programme Beau’s enjoyed cocktails alongside a lively ‘in conversation’ between Tessa and Peter on the sofa.
