Singapore Sling Earrings
18ct white and yellow gold, diamond and jade buddha and chopstick earrings
The original Singapore Sling cocktail was first invented by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon at Raffles Hotel, Singapore, sometime before 1915.
Whilst the liquid version might contain grenadine, lime juice, bitters and juice, our version is a little more timeless. Here, two hand-carved jade buddha heads are crowned with hand-crafted, diamond-set chopsticks, evoking the eponymous cocktail’s Eastern origins. The result is a truly magnificent and original pair of gold statement earrings that will bring a smile to anyone’s face. And due to the neutral palette, these one-of-a-kind earrings are as easy to wear by day as by night, making them all-round favourites for any fine jewellery lover.
These earrings have featured in such publications as The Jewellery Cut, Walpole Online and Brummel Online.
The Singapore Sling Earrings hail from our Under the Influence collection, inspired by the whimsical, colourful and joyous world of the cocktail. Developed like potions in an apothecarist’s lab, the collection explores the way in which many of our most legendary cocktails came to be, as well as the ingredients within them and the effects they have on those who enjoy them the most.
