Staghorn Earrings
9ct yellow gold, verdigris brass and citrine stag head earrings
Taking their name from the staghorn plant, these elegant animal earrings draw their inspiration from our imagined garden, where at dusk and dawn each day a shy family of deer pass silently through the box-hedge maze to eat ripe rose hips from a nearby, gnarled oak tree.
The Staghorn Earrings are the perfect accessory for anyone who loves nature and the great outdoors. Hand-crafted in 9ct yellow gold, and set with a pair of cushion-cut citrines and verdigris stag head drops, these charming earrings work with pretty much any casual or weekend-wear ensemble. The rich jewel-like colours of the orange citrine and green verdigris really brighten up the face, complementing all skin tones.
The Staghorn Earrings hail from our Once Upon a Time in My Secret Garden jewellery collection. Inspired by the landscaped gardens of William Kent and Capability Brown, the exotic menagerie’s of George Stubbs and Jacques-Laurent Agasse, and the writings of William Shakespeare, Phillip Pullman, Lewis Carrol and Frances Hodgson Burnett (amongst others), this collection aims to bring to life the weird and wonderful flowers and creatures that would reside in Tessa’s imagined garden.
These earrings have featured in such publications as VO+ Magazine, Wallpaper Magazine, Brummel Magazine and Katerina Perez Online.
