On an Indian-summer’s September evening, Tessa hosted her annual (albeit this year slightly late) Summer Dinner in the exquisite surroundings of her newly refurbished home in Chelsea.

The event is hosted as a thank you to all of those who’ve been particularly supportive to the brand in the past year – be it clients, partners, collaborators or press – and as always takes place ‘al fresco’, on this occasion in the designer’s back garden in an old army tent. Invitees included Beanie Major of INDTL, Sarah Murray, Ming Liu of the Financial Times HTSI, Sima Kumar, Harry Becher and Jonathan Heilbron. 

Chefs extraordinaire Mustard Catering did an phenomenal job with food and beverage, producing a dangerous selection of gin martinis to welcome guests, alongside tuna tartar and venison canapes. This year’s seated dinner was served along two trestle tables, decorated with  tealights and miniature cactus centrepieces. Cep and truffle risotto was followed by pan fried sea-bass and lobster ravioli with plum ice-cream and gold jelly to finish.

An impromptu magic show by dinner guest Drummond Money-Coutts, the world-renowned magician, concluded the evening leaving guests spellbound as they headed off into the night.
