In what is a major step in terms of growth for the brand, Tessa Packard London is delighted to announce the launch of their new showroom this coming December.
Located in Chelsea, a stone’s throw away from Sloane Street, the new by-appointment-only showroom will offer a beautifully designed space to shop the fine jewellery collections, discuss bespoke commissions and host a wide range of events, from panel discussions to workshops, press days to collaborative brand showcases.
Tessa herself comments: ‘This autumn marks four and a half years since I first launched the brand and I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve finally reached a point in the journey where we are ready to invest in a sophisticated, stand-alone destination for our clients and community. As daunting as it can be to take on such a big commitment, it’s a much needed step in our development as both a British luxury brand and an ever-growing international one’.
The large, two-storey space will showcase not only Tessa’s jewellery but also her love of storytelling through design and collecting. Decorated in the style of Robert Kime with touches of the colonial, the ground floor showroom will evoke the aesthetic of an antiquated gentleman’s study, rich in taxidermy, leather-bound books, fossils and specimens, drawing directly from the designer’s obsession with the Victorian curiosity cabinet. The jewellery itself will be displayed in a series of beautiful, custom-made vitrines throughout the showroom.
Additional features include a private meeting room, a fully stocked bar, a secret terrace for summertime alfresco meetings and finally an upper mezzanine level, serving as an open-plan office space.
TP London looks forward to welcoming clients in (what they hope will become) a home-away-from-home. Full details on launch date and opening times will be released in October 2017.
